Aquent's utility client is seeking a Marketing Project Manager with strong project management skills, but also the ability to compose, edit and evaluate messaging/customer-facing copy. Manager is looking for a resource who is interested in the possibly to convert to a direct employee after 4-6 months on contract. This role does not require travel, however, an occasional offsite meeting in San Ramon may be required.

Overview of Marketing department:
Marketing department is responsible for the planning, development and execution of marketing activities and support materials that drive participation in energy-efficiency, demand response and dynamic pricing programs, as well as adoption of long-term energy management behaviors.

Qualifications:
• 4+ years’ experience in managing marketing communication production, vendor management and/or process management • Preferred: Some experience writing and producing marketing communications for enterprise organizations, whether in analyst relations, public relations, investor relations or other marcom role • Experience working in environmental or energy related field a plus • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable about Adobe productivity software • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-driven environment • Committed to customer satisfaction • Proven ability to foster trust and collaborative partnerships with colleagues and internal stakeholders • Able to represent professionally in public forums • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the production of assets that are included in monthly bill package with internal and external teams; Maintain the editorial and production calendars for all these assets • Coordinate the review and approval of materials. Significant coordination is needed among several stakeholders across the Organization to route and reconcile feedback and gain approval on deliverables. • Ensure all finished materials meet the project objectives, and are produced without errors, consistent with established brand guidelines, communicated to internal parties and inventoried appropriately. • Drive communications strategy and marketing efforts support new bill-related triggered communications • Review, edit and approve pre-written communications from other stakeholders on an ad hoc basis to ensure conformity with approved talking points, corporate style and tone, and general communication best practices. • Work with internal and external teams to manage project PO's.
