Marketing Project Manager

Overview

Our client, a fast-growing innovation and technology consultancy, is looking for an ambitious and passionate Marketing Project Manager to join their London based team on a permanent basis. The Project Manager will be required to support the global marketing team in the delivery of a variety of initiatives that are currently in process, as well as upcoming projects. This is a varied role that spans across strategy and planning, as well as hands-on campaign management, acne everything in-between.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a variety of operational initiatives, such as function reporting, sales campaign coordination and day-to-day budget management;
  • Identify opportunities to improve function operations, proposing a substantiated way forward and rolling these ideas out across the team;
  • Support the transformation of the marketing function, leading initiatives that improve the effectiveness, agility and impact of the global marketing team;
  • Respond to, and collate, urgent requests for presentations or information intended for an executive and/or external audience;
  • Undertaking desk research (eg. on competitor activity), synthesising the key points and outlining the impact of this
  • Draft and manage change communications that foster an ambitious, creative and innovative approach to marketing
  • collaborate with other teams across the marketing function and PA to support a wide variety of business initiatives

 

Key criteria

  • Project management and prioritisation – ability to prioritise effectively, ensuring that milestones and commitments are met by you and others; flagging obstacles to timely project delivery and issues requiring further discussion
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management – work effectively with marketers and colleagues across PA, contracting with them to agree delivery expectations on quality and timescales, and delivering reliably on your own commitments
  • Effective communication skills – great written and presentation skills. Able to craft a wide range of communications including emails, notes, reports, invites and briefings in line with PA's tone of voice guidelines
  • Financial and data analysis – good understanding of Excel and experience of using this to manipulate data and analyse trends
  • Information gathering and reporting – able to research, collate, summarise and present information to highlight marketing performance
  • Marketing operations – Familiarity and experience with marketing KPIs, processes and tools/systems (CRM database, email marketing, lead management)
  • Social media – evidence of strong social media skills, acting as an evangelist among sceptics
