Marketing Project Manager

Our client is a large financial institution in Charlotte, NC and they are seeking a contract Marketing Project Manager for their Retail Marketing Division within our Charlotte, NC office. This Marketing Project Manager role will be critical in establishing their customer community. The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for managing the build of the customer community from inception to completion, partnering with stakeholders, facilitating meetings with vendors, and helping to develop business requirements.

This Marketing Project Manager role sits within the Retail Marketing User Experience team. This team is responsible for the end to end design & creation of online experiences for consumers and advisors, including but not limited to, websites, interactive sales tools, and mobile solutions. They are looking for someone who has a strong base in project management, is excellent in communicating with key business partners and stakeholders and is extremely well organized.

Responsibilities of Marketing Project Manager:
• Facilitate vendor communication
• Coordinate scheduling between vendor
• Owns and facilitates the creation of project plans with clearly defined milestones, deliverables and tasks, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Day to day management of the project from initiation through implementation and deployment.
• Works with business partners and vendors to develop the scopes of work based on functional and business requirements.
• Alert UX Design Manager if a project strays out of the originally set parameters.
• Collaborates with the UX Design Manager to identify and analyze risks and determine mitigation plans.
• Drives toward successful completion of the agreed-upon project deliverables within scope, time and budget while meeting the highest quality standards.
• Ensures continuous stakeholder alignment between internal and external partners.
• Champions and consistently improves and shares project management processes, standards, templates and best practices.
• Create, manage and track project documentation such as: detailed project plans, budget, resource plans, status reports, risks/issues, etc.
• Set up and run all necessary key touch-point meetings in the process.
• Keep User Experience Design Manager aware of progress on project and raise any concerns as quickly as possible.
• Provide regular written and verbal communication to various audiences throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the project to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within scope & budget.

Requirements for Marketing Project Manager:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or any other related field of expertise.
• 3+ years in project management role, digital marketing related field a plus
