Our client is a large financial institution in Midtown Manhattan, NY and they are looking for an experienced Marketing Project Manager to join their team for a 12 to 18 month contract. This Marketing Project Manager job is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. Health benefits and 401K options are offered through Aquent.

Our client, a large financial institution in Midtown Manhattan is looking for an experienced Marketing Project Manager to assist with execution of marketing campaigns with primary focus on ultra-high-net-worth segment brand delivery activities. The Marketing Project Manager will be able to demonstrate a successful history in a marketing role for a financial services company with responsibilities in assisting with programs that support the national marketing plan and company goals. This Marketing Project Manager will report to the Brand Delivery Manager and be responsible for:

• marketing collateral and sales presentation material development
• brand templates and standard brand assets such as corporate stationery, merchandise, etc.
• national marketing campaigns, including sponsorship program management
• business as usual/lights on initiatives
• brand and visual identity guidelines across all materials

Daily Responsibilities of Marketing Project Manager:
• Execute Marketing program deliverables from project initiation to delivery.
• Implement the marketing plan by working with internal and external partners to deliver in a timely manner and on budget.
• Follow core brand guidelines in order to ensure integrity of the brand at the national and local levels.
• Coordinate the development of communication materials, such as brochures and sales presentations.
• Develop and communicate written briefs for use by agencies or suppliers (e.g., creative, advertising, packaging, collateral, merchandising, etc.) to direct their work activities in order to generate concepts for effective execution of marketing programs and objectives.
• Ensure production of top quality materials that meet strategic objectives with a consistent message and brand voice.
• Review items for approval by using brand/legal/creative/quality assurance guidelines in order to enhance the brand image and manage risk.
• Deliver operational and process improvements that drive increased efficiency within national marketing and regional marketing teams.
• Deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders and senior executive management on marketing programs.
• Work with Manager and other members of team and partners to develop new ideas, objectives and strategies for brand messaging.
• Work with field marketing partners to ensure that they are briefed on marketing programs and have the right tools to follow up as required.
• Work with the digital marketing partners to ensure that marketing programs are accurately reflected on public site and that all required metrics are fully in place.
• Assist in executing marketing programs across lines of business and departments with a multi-channel delivery approach.
• Manage program/project status.
• Complete other duties as assigned to meet company goals.

Required Skills of Marketing Project Manager:
• A minimum of 5 years of Marketing experience with a financial services and/or luxury brand company.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines; strong multi-tasking skills and grace under pressure to deliver for each project on time. Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong negotiating skills with business partners and third party vendors emphasizing that they ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills in a straightforward, simple manner with a history of developing and delivering C-level presentations.
• Experience in working with and managing both internal and external agency partner relationships.
• Good relationship building and strong people skills.
• Ability to receive input/feedback positively and remain flexible and open to other points of view, while also being able to persuasively defend/discuss solutions.
• Understand importance of managing risk in development of marketing materials and communications.
• Takes initiative and continuously strives for improvement.
• High self motivation with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills for Marketing Project Manager:
• Experience in managing and executing ultra high net worth marketing campaign and programs.
• Strong copy editing skills. Copy writing experience preferred.
• Experience navigating a large, matrixed organization.
• A good understanding of the various marketing sub-disciplines: digital marketing, sales support, market research, communications, product marketing and event marketing.
• Ability to work well in a team in an ever-changing and fast-moving environment.
• Experience working on joint marketing programs with channel partners.
• Understanding and experience with social media
• BA/BS in Marketing or Business.
