Marketing Project Manager

Vitamin T is assisting our client in their search for a Marketing Project Manager. This is a 3-4 month project, onsite in NYC.
As a Marketing Project Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of projects initiated with Marketing Operations and Production for the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, projects, and operational publications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Focuses on managing the development of campaign collateral across the Marketing group on behalf of project owners within known budgets; includes establishing timelines and delegating assignments; coordinating program components with other departments/divisions/consultants; and evaluating and updating project status for reporting and decision making, recommending adjustments.
• Coordinates collaboration amongst key campaign stakeholders and the Communications & Marketing (CM) group in the production of a variety of collateral. Ensures that all design matters including branding guidelines and review; adhering to project schedules and coordinating with other departments/consultants to manage the creation of all project deliverables.
• Partners with all CM staff to ensure all schedules have been vetted, and that all stakeholders are aligned to ensure successful delivery.
• Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring that sponsors are satisfied with the level of service and quality of deliverables, managing expectations with what is possible and negotiating expected outcomes. Special focus on providing clear and consistent communication and transparency of information to sponsors regarding their projects.
• Clearly defines roles, responsibilities and expectations at the onset of each project. Identify and escalate any scheduling issues, including rush projects, missed deadlines, etc.
• Create and maintain detailed project plans and associated project deliverables. Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and per quality standards.
• Provides project owners with creative solutions regarding content, style, direction, feasibility, and dissemination of campaign collateral.
• Promotes best practices, manages process and coordinates important branding and editorial guideline reviews to every project.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of five relevant experience
• Publications development or related experience with a specific focus on project management
• Established experience in relationship management and expertise collaborating with creative teams and multiple stakeholders
• Knowledge of print production
• Knowledge of production of digital products, including website management, encouraged
• Excellent proofreading and editing ability
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Adobe and PDF editing
• Knowledge of project management databases/software
