Marketing Project Manager - 325352

The US Merchandising team is looking for an experienced marketing project manager to manage and execute website sale events and promotions. The primary goal of this role is to launch promotions and initiatives that will deliver on key financial metrics, as well as help delight customers while addressing the needs of advertising sponsors and key suppliers.

In this role, you will work with destination merchandising, supplier management and media sales teams to identify, plan and deliver promotions that will leverage the breadth of the clients travel inventory to present relevant deals to customers. This will require you to become an expert in all of the clients merchandising, ad serving/targeting and reporting tools and develop strong relationships with creative and web production teams.

The US Merchandising team is responsible for the creation, planning, management, and execution of site promotions & strategy for the client. This position reports to the Manager, Merchandising as an individual contributor role.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading the site merchandising and promotional strategies and implementation for specific sale events. This role will manage all implementation aspects internally, as well coordinate projects with destination merchandising, supplier management and media sales teams.
• Drive promotional merchandising by working with marketing channel leads. These activities include: selecting deals and offers to merchandise, optimizing ongoing ad placements and managing approvals and timelines.
• Work with the supplier management team to support supplier contracts and merchandising opportunities, as well as proactively source inventory to meet consumer demand.
• Optimize performance of live campaigns and provide direction and implementation for upcoming campaigns.
• Review and analyze promotional results and make recommendations and execution plans for future promotions based on these results.
• Manage all tactical details related to promotions (develop all needed terms and conditions, manage copy/design requests and implementation of placements and overall analysis of the promotion).

Work Experience and Education Guidelines:

• Bachelors Degree required
• 5-7 years min. relevant professional experience
• 3-5 years of highly relevant marketing or project management experience
• Strong knowledge of Excel with experience in pivot tables, as well as math, lookup and logic functions.
• Experience utilizing Business Objects and Adobe Omniture SiteCatalyst reporting or similar analytical tools is desired.
