Marketing Project Coordinator

Company in Carlsbad seeks Marketing Project Coordinator to assist with a variety of marketing projects for company. The Marketing Project Coordinator will utilize a variety of media and methods, by performing the following duties and responsibilities:
- Takes a project from concept to delivery, defining timelines and budget breakdowns, using internal and external resources, and monitoring project status to ensure that schedules, budget, and project goals are met and deliverables received.
- Takes lead on domestic and international marketing efforts for all areas served by Marketing, events, etc. as assigned.
- Reviews and analyzes business processes that accompany these special projects. Institutes processes as needed.
- Liaises with other company operations divisions, involving areas such as warehouse, inventory, reports processing, mail processing, etc.
- Develops project specifications, schedules, and vendor quote requests.
- Develops, tests, executes, and analyzes projects following marketing plan and budget constraints.
- Analyzes the completed project, monitors results, and makes recommendations for future programs.
- Coordinates participation of internal staff, temporary workers, and external vendors including, but not limited to, consultants, advertising agencies, design firms, graphic designers, printers, database services, and mail houses for assigned projects.
- Directs and coordinates activities in project phases to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget; modifies as needed.
- Interfaces with project staff and management on brainstorming, advising, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Schedules meetings and obtains reviews and approvals as needed.
- Prepares project reports for management, clients, and others as needed.
- Tracks and reports on projects against schedules and budgets, and makes recommendations for future programs.
- Researches cost-saving methods and strategies to ensure projects are implemented competitively and cost-effectively.
- Ensures compliance with established image and brand-identity graphic standards and guidelines.
- Ensures quality control through proofreading, editing, and press check standards.
- Produces promotional copy and design ideas as needed.
- Serves as an internal resource for other department staff.
- Interfaces with all levels of staff, clients and vendors, as needed, to successfully complete projects.
- Communicates effectively, gets along with coworkers and management, and deals with others effectively and professionally under pressure in written and spoken communications.
