Marketing Programs Development Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION:


The Program Manager’s key function is to assist the thought leadership team lead in managing all strategic and marketing communication tactics for the institutional retirement business. To assist the lead, resource must manage integrated campaigns, reporting/routines, and support strategic planning.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Manage integrated campaigns, Percent of time: 80%
  • Marketing plan development: Develop a thought leadership marketing plan through coordination and integration across business goals and marketing programs

  • Strategic planning: Develop a channel plan, communications calendar and go to market strategy

  • Strategic lead: Interact with the LOB and the marketing partners to develop marketing collateral and outputs that meet strategic business and demand generation goals

  • Marketing communications: Partner with lead agency to capture strategic projects and tactical execution from lead and partner agencies

  • Validate schedules to ensure all reviews and socialization are accurate and incorporated

  • Hold channel and agency partners accountable to drive toward execution of marketing programs on time, on budget


  • Reporting / routines, Percent of time: 10%


  • Preparing reports on program results: Coordinate with metrics team to ensure measurement is completed and presented to larger audiences

  • Analysis of all critical processes impacting marketing effort; identify and mitigate risks


  • Other duties, Percent of time: 10%


  • Assisting team lead in Ad Hoc special projects and presentations

  • Program manage execution of tactics as needed due to team capacity


  • REQUIRED:


  • College Degree

  • 2-5 years experience in marketing communications and/or strategy

  • Strong editorial and project management skills to execute marketing communication programs

  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Intermediate proficiency in Excel programs

  • Ability to successfully interact and influence business partners across a variety of business areas

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and in a team


  • DESIRED:


  • Master’s degree

  • Experience in Institutional Retirement

  • Experience in financial services

  • Previous BAC experience helpful in understanding BAC’s Business as Usual processes for project execution
