Marketing Program Manager-New Product Coordination

A small marketing team at F500 financial services company is looking for a senior experienced marketing program manager to coordinate for their new products.

Summary: The New Product Coordinator role will be responsible for coordinating all marketing activities across the Marketing organization for all new credit card launches. This role will be responsible for creating a high level holistic project plan for all activities required across the Marketing organization to launch new credit card products. In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring that Marketing has a well-documented Marketing plan and identifying areas of opportunity for strategies to ensure that we have no gaps in the plan. The person hired for this role will also track the progress and act as a project manager for Marketing to ensure that we are delivering on all responsibilities on time and with quality. This person will assist in representing the Marketing team in program management meetings as necessary. Reporting will be required to senior levels of the organization on a regular basis to provide status updates and potential opportunities.

Job responsibilities: Job responsibilities for the position include (but not limited to) the following.

• Program management of all activities required by Marketing for new credit card launches
• Develop a holistic Marketing plan roadmap of all activities required by Marketing to launch new credit card products
• Pull together all individual Marketing Strategies across the Marketing team into one high level holistic Marketing Plan
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to ensure that all strategies are accounted for and on track
• Represent marketing at product marketing program management meetings
• Manage project timelines; ensuring that all milestones stay on track
• Ensure cross channel integration and consistency in messaging and communication strategies across marketing


Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in marketing, including some credit card marketing experience
• Experience managing marketing campaigns
• Program management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Credit Card or Payments experience
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects across a large matrix organizations
• Strong project and relationship management skills with the ability to roll-up their sleeves and execute programs with a low to moderate level of direction
• Highly detail and process oriented
• A naturally driven self-starter who can quickly identify issues and provide actionable solutions
• Persuasive presenter
• Adept communicator through both written and oral communication
• Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Serve as an influencer to raise the bar of creative excellence across the credit card marketing team

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in a direct mail, advertising, or communications management environment
• A working knowledge of the credit card industry/financial services industry
• Competent across Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); strong PowerPoint design skills desired
• Strong project/relationship management skills with the ability to roll-up their sleeves and execute programs with a moderate level of direction
• Highly detail and process oriented
• Knowledge of direct marketing principles, print production and advertising best practices
