A small consumer product marketing team at a F100 financial services company is looking for a rock star Marketing Program Manager Consultant for a 6 month assignment.

As an industry leader, they put customers at the center of all that they do. They make every decision - and design every product and service - with their customers in mind.

They are seeking an experienced marketing leader to develop and implement marketing programs to deliver acquisition growth and improve the customer experience. The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for developing and executing initiatives to expand their direct-to-consumer marketing and leads programs.

These programs will be executed across direct mail, banking and phone channels, digital channel, outbound telemarketing and ATM advertising. In addition, they will collaborate across key partner groups including Product, Risk, Finance, Analytics, Campaign Execution, Creative Strategy, Portfolio Marketing, Digital and Operations/Systems teams to develop strategies, align priorities and drive successful execution of campaigns.

Role responsibilities are as follows:
• Marketing strategy development, planning, forecasting, execution and measurement.
• Develop strategy and implement new Prequalified/Prescreen campaigns via direct mail, online and leads. Develop roadmap to test and enhance targeting, customer segmentation, offers (pricing, rewards, etc.) and creatives to drive growth.
• Channel integration and development. Ensure campaigns are integrated across all marketing channels, including store, phone, online (secure site and public site), direct mail, email, mobile, banker leads, statements, ATM, social media, and others, as applicable. Develop and test new channels such as outbound telemarketing, new digital marketing opportunities, etc.
• Leads strategy: optimize and enhance leads strategy to further drive new account acquisition growth. This includes improving leads quality, expanding leads volume and enhancing the leads presentment rules/logics in sales systems.
• Segmentation: Identify the right target customers to expand marketable population, working with the modeling, analytics and risk teams to identify segments, size opportunity and build business cases.
• Targeting: Finding the right product/channel combination to reach out target customers is always what we strive for. In addition, with a slew of systemic capabilities opening up product offering options, this role provides an exciting proposition for true strategists.
• Offers: Develop and test compelling customer offers. Collaborate with other product marketing partners to develop joint offers.
• Creatives: Direct and oversee creative strategy and development of marketing and sales support materials (direct marketing packages, sales guides, customer facing flyers, scripting, etc.)
• Work closely with respective marketing partners to ensure flawless and timely execution of campaigns to meet business and financial goals
• Direct analysis and continuously monitor campaign results to provide insights and recommendations for improvements – working closely with Marketing Analytics team.
• Manage marketing budget to optimize return on marketing investment.
• Ensure adherence to all compliance and privacy regulations and policies in marketing campaigns
• Effectively manage external vendor relationships, including direct marketing shared services teams

Minimum Qualifications:
• 6+ years’ experience in marketing strategy and analytics (ability to problem solve and use analytics and modeling to create business value)
• 4+ years’ experience in database/direct marketing in consumer lending industry (knowledge of database marketing; ability to leverage customer segmentation and targeting models; understanding of credit risk modeling)

Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated success in working in a matrixed environment and leveraging shared services.
• Proven experience creating and implementing integrated marketing programs across multiple channels.
• Strong strategic skills and highly analytical; utilizing and interpreting data and analytics to quantify and improve sales and marketing results.
• Excellent project management skills with proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple functional areas.
• Impressive partner relationship management, influencing, collaboration, and negotiating skills with senior business managers to create and manage strong relationships, gain commitment, and accomplish shared goals.
• Demonstrated effective verbal/written communication skills to communicate at a senior management level.
