Our client, a major financial services company, is looking for a Marketing Program Manager (or Director) with a B2B Demand Generation background and experience with marketing automation, and executing installed based programs. A strong analytical, financial understanding is required for this role.

This role is based in the SF bay area and is long term (12 months) with strong potential for conversion to full time.

The Marketing Programs Manager has a natural ability to listen and understand complex ideas and translate them into tailored, written messages for specific audiences and channels. With the right messages in mind, she/he will propose and execute campaigns working with sales, and product marketing to continuously refine, target, and improve customer ARPU. They will have a passion for marketing, a customer centric philosophy and are motivated by building and strengthening customer relationships.

The ideal candidate enjoys developing marketing programs from the ground up, has a roll up his/her sleeves mentality to execute on tight deadlines, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. He/she also has a successful track record of creating and executing successful install base marketing programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Own and manage all installed base marketing programs including plans/briefs, tactics, promotional calendar, collateral development, and success metrics
• Mine and segment this division’s installed base to drive product upsell and improve customer lifetime value by:
o Working with finance/sales ops to understand financials and upsell opportunities
o Working closely with the Sales & product marketing teams to identify upsell opportunities and develop tactics and promotions to maximize revenue
o Working with product marketing and Sales to coordinate communication and promotions of product launches and enhancements
o Creation, implementation and management of an event-based customer lifecycle messaging program (email channel)
