Position summary

The ideal candidate will possess a hybrid of program/project management skills and product marketing, with experience in managing software-as-a-service (SaaS) products through direct online sales, channel partner/reseller programs, and desktop sales teams. Key responsibilities will include expanding SaaS product offerings through the online store, channel programs, and assisting with initiatives to help accelerate attach of SaaS offerings to desktop product sales.


Own and drive time lines - either program releases and/or other key initiatives - by creating and maintaining schedules (including key milestones and dependencies), understanding the deliverables and the progress toward each milestone, and identifying and driving resolution of all project issues.

Effectively manage change and risk, partnering with the applicable teams to ensure the right decisions are made at the right time, appropriate communication occurs, and plans are intelligently adjusted to reflect necessary fluctuations in goals and requirements as business needs change.

Collaborate with other organizations and external groups to coordinate release processes, facilitate deliverable hand-offs, and ensure timely delivery of fully-qualified whole products to our customers.

Coordinate and communicate with internal customers (and third-party partners) as needed to set and manage expectations, highlight and resolve issues, and ensure an overall excellent experience working with the team.

Facilitate Product/Business Team and related meetings; report on program management issues, especially those that need visibility, escalating business issues as necessary; assign action items and drive to closure; review status on a weekly basis to track progress.

Manage team communication across multiple geographical locations.

Identify the need for, design, and proactively drive ongoing process improvements within the organization.

Serve as a single point of contact for all project status items.


Desire to be on a highly productive, fast-paced team.

BS/BA required; MBA and/or PMP a plus.

3-5 years of marketing program management and/or product marketing experience in a software or technology company.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate with variety of personalities and styles, at multiple levels of the organization.

Proven track record of managing component projects within a larger program, with complex upstream and downstream dependencies.

Proven experience managing complex projects to successful completion including the ability to navigate complex environments and work with interdisciplinary teams and effectively communicate priorities, delivery expectations, risks and concerns to senior management.

Proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Proactive, collaborative work style and can-do attitude.

Background in a SaaS company a plus.
