Marketing Program Manager

Our client is a large financial institution in Charlotte, NC and they are looking for a Marketing Program Manager to join their team for a 12 to 18 month contract. This is 40 hours a week and health benefits and 401K are offered through Aquent.

The Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for driving the execution of digital marketing tactics to acquire credit card customers. The specific focus will be placed on executing online banking channel strategy, driving performance and testing to ensure continued digital sales growth. This will include the development and management of online content and will require the ability to become familiar with a content management system. Must be able to leverage research, insight and analytics to deliver ongoing marketing campaigns. The Marketing Program Manager will need to understand relevant online performance metrics and be ready to identify opportunities to help improve efficiency.

The Marketing Program Manager should have the ability to develop and cultivate relationships with a variety of internal partners including the card line of business, sales, legal, risk, technology, and analytics. The Marketing Program Manager must also be comfortable interacting with external agency partners to drive creative development as needed. The Marketing Program Manager must also be a team player, flexible and adaptive to other tasks as assigned (i.e. audit, and other executional requests outside of Small Business marketing responsibilities).

Required Skills of Marketing Program Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Proven ability to execute marketing programs and drive results
• 3+ years of experience executing marketing and/or digital initiatives
• Agency and/or vendor partner management experience
• Extremely driven with a strong desire to meet high expectations and business objectives
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Effective time management, organizational skills, prioritization skills and relationship management skills
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Solid MS Office PowerPoint and Excel experience

Desired Skills for Marketing Program Manager:
• Experience with targeted marketing campaigns (Online, Direct Marketing, E-mail, etc.) including target selection, design, tactical implementation and back-end tracking
• Knowledge of credit card industry
