My client is one of the Global Consultancy Firms, and they are looking for someone to join their Media and Technology Marketing team.

Program/campaign description
We work with other marketing teams across the Company to create programmes to support our business development in a specific range of client companies and contacts. There is minimal requirement to create new content and programmes: rather, to repurpose existing content and programmes for these clients. In doing this we are very collaborative with other marketing groups within the organisation and work with different teams all the time.

The Marketing team works very closely with the Sales Lead in order to focus our marketing activity to align with and support the business targets of the Communications, Media & High Tech Operating Team in the UK and Ireland – this is a very sales and business targets focused team who needs to respond to the demands of our clients.

Main activities in this role include:
• Working on our client records in the CRM system Salesforce.com, ensuring these are up to date and populated with information as received from account and marketing activities, including campaign logging and updating.
• Maintaining accurate records within Microsoft SharePoint and Excel – of activities including event registrations, campaign and project plans.
• Asset management – of items for events and campaigns, including giveaways, banners etc.
• Online research using our own and other subscription information sources as well as general search.
• Social media metrics monitoring on Twitter and others.
• Email automation, origination and tracking
• Digital development – utilising a range of channels to communicate such as app development
• Creating and updating client profiles.
• Event administration including invitations, badge creation, campaign tracking in Salesforce.com
• Briefing agencies for venue finding
• Managing budget expenditure for the team
• Industry research and news tracking.
• Image finding to a brief from the team.

The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics and experience:
• Enthusiasm for B2B marketing in a large enterprise “key account” environment.
• Enthusiasm for and knowledge of the telecoms, media and tech industries in the UK & Ireland and globally – gadgets, content and mobile in particular
• Willingness to pitch in and learn in a very fast moving sales-driven marketing environment.
• Highly organised
• Attention to detail
• Multi-tasker
• Campaign experience, emailers, event invitations newsletters, nurture programmes
• Ability to originate and edit copy
• Computer literate including high standard of Microsoft Office skills, online services, social media
• Stakeholder liaison
• Marketing interest, qualification or experience
• Previous experience of Salesforce.com is ideal – or a willingness to become and expert user is essential.
