Marketing Production Supervisor

This position is a full-time contract-to-perm position for the right candidate!

Job Description:

The perfect candidate will supervise design work, media production and sample fulfillment. Collaborates with internal and external agencies and design teams to assess and reassess production needs and tracks project and personnel schedules. Ensure projects are completed in a high quality, cost efficient and timely manner.

Critical outcomes of the job:

1. High quality print production materials to meet marketing plans and business initiatives by:

• Receives graphic requests, estimates costs and timing, and proposes to Director of
Marketing & Communications for sign off prior to fulfillment.

• Establishes reasonable timelines for all projects based on workload capacity for internal
and external agencies.

• Appropriately communicates obstacles in meeting timelines and budgets and proactively
proposes solutions to overcome them.

• Ensures that all creative materials are complete, timely, accurate, consistent and routed
for key stakeholder sign off (regulatory, brand, sales, and marketing management).

• Leads production scheduling meetings with marketing management, graphic and brand
teams to set design priorities as needed.

2. Administrative production project systems and processes that adhere to LEAN and support
marketing activities by:

• Provides work back plans for new packaging in collaboration with marketing management team, brand team, senior buyers, supply
chain, materials & operations and outside

• Continuously improves and maintains LEAN proofreading, print quality, archiving, routing, estimating, labeling, shipping,
distributing, mailing, IFS graphic implementation and sampling systems.

• Adheres to annual production budgets, enters costs into tracker, and provides monthly status updates.

• Tracks and updates job status for design and shipping teams. Provides Weekly Status Report and Monthly Project Completion Reports
to Marketing Management Team.

• Sources sustainably driven production, fulfillment and mailing suppliers in accordance with Supply Sourcing Guide.

• Ensures that qualified graphic designers attend and sign off on all new product packaging and collateral press runs.

• Supports Marketing Support Administrator by following up on trademark and copyright inquiries from lawyers.

3. A supported Shipping and Receiving department, able to meet marketing and sales requirements by:

• Facilitates and manages daily work load for Shipping and Receiving Clerk.

• Ensuring samples and trade kits are shipped out on time and on budget.

• Establishes timelines and fulfillment schedules for product sample and new product launch kits (in collaboration with media
communication, event, and brand teams).

• Maintains packaging flats, printed materials library and works with the Shipping and
Receiving Clerk to maintain the product warehousing systems.

• Coordinates coverage for Shipping and Receiving Clerk when needed.

You should have:

• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related.

• Preferably 3-5 years experience in a project management role.

• Excellent leadership, organization, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
• Proven client/customer service orientation
• Ability to lead meetings and contribute effectively in a team environment.
