Marketing Product Manager (Financial/Consumer Banking)

Our large, Fortune 500 financial/banking institution client seeks a Marketing Product Manager to partner with related departments (Marketing / Program Managers / IT / and consumer lines of business) to design and execute targeted services messages and sales offers to customers.
This role is integral to the customer experience and messages from this program will be used by tellers, personal bankers, financial service advisors, call center agents, etc. during customer interaction.

**NOTE: This is a 6 month contract role, with a possibility of converting to perm.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • The Program manager will be responsible for managing this project from inception through completion.

  • They will be responsible for designing and writing the messaging scripts.

  • They will work closely with Channel Managers to provide training and understanding of service messages and products to help associates communicate with customers.

  • The contractor will need to work closely with the Line of Business, understand what they are looking to achieve, ask the appropriate questions to implement and be able to describe it to IT, Marketing etc. in order to execute project successfully.

  • **Key Requirements:**
  • 3-5+ years experience in marketing, sales, and/or project management, preferably in the financial services industry in banking center or call center environment.

  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • A keen eye for detail and demonstrated ability to deliver impactful, error-free projects while managing multiple efforts simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational and both written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to effectively communicate and advocate with both peers and senior leaders. Comfortable being the voice for both customers and associates to promote better customer experiences and more effective sales interactions.

  • Ability to quickly understand business goals, processes and capabilities to drive change that supports the business needs.

  • Strong relationship management skills in partnering with internal teams to manage dependencies across initiatives that impact CO&T process, resources and technology.

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
