Marketing Product Manager - 58313-1

Our cutting edge Marketing organization is looking for an experienced, organized and motivated individual to manage several marketing operation projects, such as employee tenting, devices seeding, and marketing samples process to support product launch.
This is a challenging role that requires a broad set of skills, a strong ability to deal with ambiguity, proactive problem solving and a drive for results! An ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in project management, process improvement skills and excellent communication/stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities include:
• Transition / integrate CPMT into the current tenting process to drive greater efficiencies, work with CPMT dev team to continue driving requirements, schedule / staff confidentiality briefings
• Support current internal processes for securing products for launches, retail and commercial seeding, events and other uses worldwide
• Support framework and processes for pre-launch, launch and post-launch global activities across the Surface BG teams for seeding and sample order process, including order placement, management, approvals, and allocation / inventory processes
• Support all online, automated and manual processes across tenting, seeding, samples, and demo replacements, including: Sample Webtool orders, MyOrder seeding orders, manual orders to the DTV, etc.
• Support meetings / events as needed
• Support global Sample order tracking, monitoring, inquiries & escalations
• Work with Supply Chain to coordinate shipping and delivery dates for Seeding units ahead of launch

Qualifications
• 5-10 year experience and a BA or BS in a business-related field or equivalent work experience is requested.
• A successful candidate will have experience working on large, complex projects with minimal supervision and a proven track record of delivering on results.
• Strong knowledge of process and project management and demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while motivating/encouraging stakeholders and delivering on aggressive deadlines.
• Experience coaching/leading cross-functional teams in large enterprises
• Intellectual curiosity, proactive problem solving, deep analytical abilities, as well as the ability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly are all necessary to be successful in this role.

-- Currently have two people managing but both are reaching 18-month tenure by end of December. Consolidating two roles into one, possible to bring on someone part time at a later date.

What is a typical day going to look like for this person?
--Manage tenting process to make sure everything is done with confidentiality, handling last minute requests, product launches, central processes, driving product launch for placements

Can you describe your team’s workspace?
--mobile, working from home, sometimes come to the office but mostly remote

Will this contractor have an assigned or shared space during the assignment?
--offsite (mobile/shared)

--able to work autonomously and complete tasks efficiently, previous MSFT, prior FT position, not someone straight out of college

--5-10 years, combination with MBA or advanced degree
