This TOP social media company in Menlo Park, Ca is seeking a Marketing Partnerships Associate to join their Product Marketing team for a 6 month contract. Salary up to $34.00/hr DOE
Duties:
The primary role of the Marketing Partnerships Associate is to support the Marketing Partnerships team in envisioning, planning, producing and executing brand and product partner activations and campaigns across gaming, film, fashion, art, music and sports verticals.

This job requires the skills of a seasoned Account Manager with an eye for detail and a drive for thorough execution. It is both an internal and externally facing role so excellent written and oral communications as well as client service skills are requisite. An understanding and experience in partner relations, business development and co-marketing program planning and production is a benefit. A passion for managing client and partner data and details in a variety of formats is key. The role requires excellent multi-tasking and problem solving skills, superlative organization skills and strong work ethic.

The Partner Marketing Associate will be the nerve center of the team, facilitating communication within and across departments to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

This job includes moderate domestic and international travel to execute partner activation at major US trade shows, festivals and proprietary events. Enthusiasm for and expertise in gaming, music, film and digital entertainment a plus.



Responsibilities

Provide project management and cross-functional team leadership for execution of partner marketing programs.
Define scope and objective, work with procurement to secure commitment of resources, assign and monitor tasks, obtain approval from stakeholders.
Financial management of partner program budget including budget creation, monitoring revenue/expense performance. Responsible for project budgets from start to finish.
Track comprehensive metrics and ROI for reporting and analysis post program, producing infographics and scorecard
Successfully support end-to-end projects ensuring a high level of quality. Deliver projects on time, within budget, that meet and exceed expectations.
Balance the needs of multiple partner executions within greater partner portfolio
Audit, update and maintain the marketing partnership calendar, leads and partner activations tracker
Observe resource management patterns, document and report on variances.
Adapt to crisis situations, changing procedures, methods or processes
Develop and maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, partners
Contribute effective ideas to strategic planning and analysis processes
Contribute to overall team success by identifying problems and proactively seeking out methods to improve self-performance and/or efficiency of an operation or task
Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project
Special projects, and internal projects will also be assigned on an as need basis
Skills:
Requirements

5+ years experience in Marketing field
A proven track record of supporting large-scale marketing-focused partner activations such as trade shows, tours, conferences, retail programs, co-branded advertising campaigns etc.
Superior data management, analysis and reporting abilities
Strong computer software skills, including MS Office, Keynote and Salesforce
Basic computer hardware understanding.
Self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, juggling multiple projects at once, working two and three quarters out but still prepared and able to execute against spontaneous opportunities or shifting priorities.
Availability and willingness to travel
Passion for VR. Familiarity with gaming, music, film or digital entertainment a plus.
