Marketing Operations Specialist

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Work with the Direct Operations team to organize, set up, and test various marketing program deliverables. Help ensure quality and consistency in execution of internet marketing programs, including but not limited to marketing project work, email build and deployment, content validations, and other customer facing application or marketing vehicle changes, to meet the overall web site business goals. Facilitate the coordination of various site operations activities, as needed, by partnering with the e-commerce cross-functional teams to positively contribute to the growth of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Various Marketing production tasks, such as gathering email disclaimer/link/etc. information, testing, email and offer documentation, email notice distribution
• Work with the Merchant, Marketing, and Creative teams to gather detailed requirements for web site marketing programs (i.e. email, paid search, on-site banners, etc.), projects, and promotions, as needed
• Work with the Operations team and utilize tools to develop, set up, and deploy emails and site updates, tactical marketing projects, and new site functionality projects as needed
• QA web site and email for quality and accuracy and support Call Center issues
• Ongoing QA of existing site functionality to ensure stated business goals are met
• Identify and document process gaps and work on developing process efficiencies
• Review existing process documentation for accuracy and completeness, as needed
• Work with the Merchant, Marketing, Creative, and Finance teams to identify and define workflow processes, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Sound understanding of the Internet and eCommerce space
• Ability to learn technical applications and processes quickly
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage time
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Adobe applications (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc.) and/or HTML knowledge strongly encouraged

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• BS/BFA/FA degree a must
• 1-5 years of experience working with specialty eCommerce
• 1-3 years of email production
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Ability to use a PC, and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
