Marketing Operations Manager

Manager is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to work within Telco product division. They will be working with the marketing teams to take briefs from marketing managers then acting to deliver the brief.
This is a delivery focused role where they will work closely with the business to deliver.

The individual will need to fully understand the Marketing objective, and be able to communicate it effectively across the business

They will need to deliver new initiatives, deal with issues and manage them effectively. They will be strong at communicating on all levels, dealing with different teams and departments internally so they will need to be confident and approachable.

This key role will ensure that the Telco product division delivers the best quality propositions to the market, understanding business and Marketing needs. The person will need to a good mix of commercial and operational experience. Key Objective is to get propositions out on time, to spec, and in line with the internal processes.

The team will also be responsible for the management and future planning of division’s campaign and pricing tools.
This person will be responsible for working with all cross functional teams to ensure that the initiative is delivered in a timely and professional manner. These will include Product Management, Legal/Regulatory, Finance and Business Operations.

Expertise/Experience
• Proven background in similar role in mobile operator or internet services company
Organised and able to run multiple projects under pressure
• Understand the importance of commercial needs and impact of how initiatives are delivered to the market
• Ability to translate commercial requirements to technical and operational teams. Identify risks to the successful delivery of propositions
• Be the ‘voice of the customer’. Ensure the experience to the customer is the best in class
• Business partner/relationship management skills
• Demonstrate strong leadership in developing plans and driving matrix or virtual teams, identifying and resolving/escalating issues, bottlenecks and barriers, and initiate change that will make for substantial improvement
• Stamina and tenacity to achieve strong bottom line results, a sense of personal ownership is required
• Cultural sensitivity and a proven ability to work with teams and partners across multiple geographies are essential
• Knowledge of pricing and promotional research a significant plus
• Product launch experience a plus

♣ Good understanding and the ability to communicate & negotiate with key cross functional departments

♣ Attention to detail and an eye for quality
