Hourly pay rate- DOE
Work is to be performed M-F during normal business hours

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager for a 6–month assignment.

We are looking for a dynamic, data-loving Marketing Operations Manager to lead team-wide campaign planning, forecasting, measurement and reporting.

You move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers. You should have strategic skills and a strong analytical mindset, with experience in marketing channels and measurement. You should be a wiz with Excel/Google Sheets and have experience in cross-functional project planning and relationship-building.

You will be expected to be a doer as well as a thinker, who does not settle for the expected and conventional, but works to own delivery and push ideas beyond the norm.

Program and operations management for marketing, including campaign planning, forecasting and reporting. You’ll manage cross-functional relationships and communication, in addition to coordination of campaign forecasting and measurement.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Primary lead for marketing forecasting and campaign planning and point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders.
2. Coordinate with Operations and Marketing team on forecasting and ideal campaign launch timing and sizing.
3. Assist with execution of marketing campaigns with the goal of client growth, ensuring execution stays inside of set budget and delivers against forecasts.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Track, share and manage benchmarks and performance standards across the team, ensuring the marketers have the support and tools they need to deliver these.
- Help marketing team understand results of campaigns and ideal next steps given performance.

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (ideally in Business, Finance, Marketing, and or similar)
- 5+ years marketing experience, ideally in performance marketing
- 3 - 5+ years of experience with Excel/Google Sheets, forecasting, reporting and analytics within Business and or Marketing
- 3+ years of experience within a fast-paced team focusing on acquisition marketing or channel development

Nice to have's:
- Strong interest and experience with marketing analytics and operations: forecasting and campaign measurement (must love data!)
- Strong analytical toolkit. Comfortable gathering and digesting data and crunching large data sets
- Organizational skills and expertise managing logistics and details for marketing campaigns
- Intermediate experience with Excel / Google Sheets (e.g. advanced functions such as vlookup, hlookup, query, filter, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Sheet optimizations)
- Experience with multiple acquisition marketing channels (e.g. email, display, direct mail, etc.)
- Strong cross-functional management skills, comfortable managing and communicating with multiple internal stakeholders
- Relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication
