Marketing Operations Manager / Analyst

Major credit card client seeks a Marketing Operations Manager, Strategic Initiatives for an 18-month contract role in Long Island City.

The department is responsible for prioritizing the central development of the overall US Cards’ strategy, ensuring key initiatives fully support the strategy, monitoring progress and reporting on success to provide leadership, strategic direction, operational support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide analytic support for performance tracking, dashboards and scorecards. Collect information, analyze, digest and summarize progress against business goals & key initiatives; develop dashboards and presentations for senior management (65% of the time)

2. Coordinate events (Management Committee Meetings, Town Halls, Off-sites) for executive director and his directs (35% of the time)

Key Skills:

• 8-10 skills relevant experience (prefer 5+ years in financial and/or credit cards)
• Strong analytical skills (independently able to develop analyses)
• Project management; Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written/verbal)
• Strong People skills (able to partner with senior management)
• Work well under pressure, take criticism well
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Event planning / coordination skills is a PLUS
