Marketing Operations Consultant

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a strong Marketing Operations Consultant to manage the day-to-day activities of their Direct-to-Consumer marketing team in Arizona, which is accountable for market level strategies and activities that drive customer acquisition and retention across multiple products. This contract role is responsible for the successful implementation of the Market-level marketing strategies and functionally supported marketing plans.  The consultant will be reporting into the D2C Strategy and Marketing Team Lead, with strong alignment to the Customer Engagement and Value Strategy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the overall Market level DTC marketing strategy 
  • Manage and execute the annual marketing strategy and plans 
  • Implement the Market-level strategy and, consistent with short/long range goals including:   Acquisition, Retention and Cross Sell 
  • Identify and manage cross-functional efforts to establish the desired infrastructure required to support DTC marketing plan 
  • Provide marketing counsel across cross-functional touch points in support of growth, engagement and retention goals 
  • In partnership with coporate-wide Marketing teams, implement marketing communications and brand strategy 
  • Coordinate Marketing Communications efforts; including overseeing strategy, creative briefs, agency selection/projects. 
  • Identify changes in the marketing environment and competitive strategies, help evaluate or adjust the DTC marketing strategy 
  • Manage the day-to-day agenda for cross functional teams that help define and develop new tools and training materials such as: cut sheets, demos, broker and customer materials, “sell against” information, to enable sales force across all channels to understand how these solutions work and company's positioning in the market. 
  • Assess existing businesses for ways to increase growth and penetration of key earnings drivers; assist in identifying opportunities for marketing new and existing solutions. 
  • Identify and leverage best practices, market insights and actionable information across the segments for success.
