Marketing Operations

Our healthcare client, located in Frisco, TX has a need for a contract Marketing Operations Manager. The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for managing cross-departmental projects, making sure the team focuses on priority projects; communicating regularly to internal stakeholders and team members about the status of programs and related projects/tasks. As a key team member, the Marketing Operations Manager will create project plans and/or calendars to help drive tasks to completion.
In addition, this role is responsible for supporting workflow process and change management, including the use of technology to create efficiencies with the team and support performance measurement and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
1. Program & Project Management
• Under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Marketing, identifies potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources and timelines, and reports these potential issues to key stakeholders.
• Schedules team meetings and relevant meetings for project briefings, reviews, and approvals across all internal departments.
• Work with Marketing Directors to evaluate project priorities and deadlines to manage daily workloads ensuring unavoidable delays can be communicated and expectations managed
• Coordinate multiple projects concurrently (through project management systems) to make sure work and thoughtful and delivered on time 75%
2. Resource & Process Management
• Serve as Admin for project management tools, our client’s proprietary Health Content Marketing Technology Platform and WRIKE (used for large-scale programs like events, product launches, etc.)
• Manage and document team processes to ensure our client’s tools are set up properly and that team members understand and adhere to best practices and team procedures.
• Inform department leaders of resource constraints related to projects and programs
• Monitor and manage marketing budget and/or budgets related to projects
• Partner with team members to reconcile project spend
• Partner with Marketing Communications leadership and other cross-functional teams to set yearly budget.
• Support performance measurement and reporting 25%

• Establishing and tracking project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced marketing environment.
• Comprehension of marketing principals and able to take part in strategy discussions
• Identifying, creating, and/or improving processes.
• Basic understanding of budgeting practices.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to comfortably and quickly change gears and shuffle priorities to meet changing business needs.
• Attention to detail, very organized and ability to follow through
• Able to influence others and communicate across all levels and disciplines within a large organization.
• Ability to work autonomously, proactive and self-directed
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output
