Marketing Media Planning & Production Manager

Our large corporate client located in Chandler, AZ is looking to hire a Media Planning & Production Manager for a 6 month contract with the potential to extend or become full time. This position comes with full benefits and competitive pay.

Under the direction of the Head of Media Planning & Production, this position will be responsible for strategic planning and tactical media efforts, with the goal to maximize awareness, drive sales, and increase customer loyalty aligned with goals and objectives. This role is also responsible for all North America promotional items including item selection, branding, and ecommerce management. 

 Key responsibilities:
• Maintain a strong understanding of various media platforms, publications, outlets, and opportunities (both traditional and digital) that would be an ideal placement for our North America clients.
• Create and manage a 12-month media plan based on assigned segment, specialty, or line of business that aligns with stakeholder objectives.
• Create campaign based media plans that align with stakeholder objectives including product launches, events, and product themes.
• Develop strong vendor relationships in the media space and handle all media negotiation and buying for the assigned area.
• Develop internal stakeholder relationships across North America. Meet with teams on a regular basis to discuss marketing campaigns and how media could support their message and efforts.
• Manage the full cycle of each media project and opportunity – including setting objectives, determining best media platform(s), strategic plans, manage cost vs. budget, calendaring, and deadline management.
• Collaborate with key internal teams across organization including Program Management, Creative, and Digital Communications to help execute advertisements.
• Report on monthly media placement metrics including cost vs. savings, reach, visibility, registrations vs. attendees, cost per impression, cost per click, and more.
• Recommend future go-forward media strategies based on these statistics, becoming the go-to expert for media buys. 
• Adhere to voice, tone, and brand image in every media project. Act as the brand champion before placing any advertisement and make the final review. Ensure brand compliance, quality control, and competitive pricing.
• Oversee all North America promotional item orders placed through the online eStore.
• Analyze back-end reporting on store usage and make appropriate recommendations regarding new or unnecessary products while promoting the store with internal presentations and demonstrations.
• Manage all custom promotional item orders not available in eStore.
• Work with internal vendors regarding item selection, brand compliance, competitive pricing, and quick turnaround times.
• Provide internal stakeholders with a high level of assistance to ensure their custom needs are met by assisting with recommendations and solutions to align with their projects and campaigns based on timelines and budget.
• Process all media and premium vendor invoices and purchase orders while ensuring data accuracy, identifying charge codes, and process the invoices in a timely manner using Oracle/Markview systems.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in project management, marketing, or communications role.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in advertising, marketing, or communications role.
• Excellent communication skills.

• High level of attention to detail.
• Project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines crucial.
• Demonstrated beginning-to-end project execution history.
• Advanced knowledge of core Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional team members.
• A high degree of adaptability to handle changing needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A highly creative and resourceful thinker with a strong “can do” attitude.
• Ability to learn, comprehend and apply new job-related information in a timely manner.
