We are seeking a dynamic, driven marketer to join our team to develop marketing strategies to generate demand and new customer acquisition across multiple traffic channels. You will also work closely with internal engineering teams and content teams on various services that will be provided with the category devices. You will initiate, plan and execute highly visible merchandising activities including promotions and support new product launches. At the same time, you will be expected to come up with creative solutions to solve many non-standard and unique business problems and to deliver actionable output to further enhance customer awareness, usages and satisfactions. To be successful in this role you will need to be creative and dedicated to continually testing, measuring and evolving new marketing programs through that engage new and existing customers. When you build something that delivers results, you will scale your program to leverage your work.
The ideal candidate will be metrics-driven with strong ownership and focus, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment, and communicate clearly and persuasively. This person is able to drive focus and excellence within the programs they own, with their colleagues in marketing and product management and with colleagues across the organization, including Retail, Business Development and third-party vendors. You will be at the center of exciting marketing programs that span across teams, and act as a single-threaded owner on multiple projects.
・Responsible for improving mid-to-upper funnel metrics (awareness, brand consideration, purchase intent) and customer acquisitions.
・Develop marketing strategies and programs to develop demand, optimize external traffic, and continually improve customer experience to deliver growth for the business.
・Analyze performance metrics, and provide product and industry expertise and understanding of customer behavior to inform and refine the business’ marketing strategy and execution.
・Develop, analyze and execute targeted promotional activities to generate demand.
・Apply research and data on customer behavior to develop brand and voice standards for the category, product or business.
・Apply customer working-backwards methodologies to improve customer experience.
・Drive operational excellence by measuring efficiency and effectiveness of activities.

・You have launched online marketing strategies, and have driven product positioning and messaging.
・You owned design, development, and maintenance of ongoing marketing and traffic metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to make key business decisions.
・You have an experienced on planning, coordinate and execute innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to generate traffic, revenue and conversion.
・You use data to make the best decisions for your customer, and act as the voice of the customer in understanding their behaviour and needs.
・You are an analytical thinker, able to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and results.
・You are a self-starter and can juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic and often ambiguous environment.
・You enjoy solving problems and are good at crafting solutions.
・You like getting your hands dirty in day-to-day tasks to get things done.
・7+ years experiences in product/digital marketing/advertising.
・Experience in ecommerce, advertising or digital marketing and brand strategy.
・Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
・Experience managing marketing teams.
・Experience in ecommerce, digital technologies, consumer products, consumer electronics or technology sector.
・Superior communication skills (both reading and writing bilingual in English and Japanese) and clear customer focus.
・Proven ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
・MS Office skills: Word and Excel
・MBA is a plus
・Strong project management experience and fanatical attention to detail
・An ability to manage and negotiate with stakeholders to drive maximum efficiency
・Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
・Experience working cross-functionally across Marketing, Product Management, Retail, Business Development, Engagement and Research
・Quick decision maker - ability to demonstrate bias for action under tight timing and pressure
