Our client is a Seattle-based Coffeehouse chain looking for a Marketing Manager Associate to join their team for a 3-month assignment. This person will be supporting multiple initiatives such as out of store marketing channels such as paid media and ensuring the marketing and creative campaign messages are properly released. This can involve, social, paid search, banner adds, digital to traditional (tv – print). Everything is tied to a specific cost per objective which requires someone who has a keen eye for performance marketing and very specific business objectives. Job Summary: 
The Media Manager position contributes to the company success by providing subject matter expertise of digital and response media to maximize the impact of our out-of-store (OOS) media investments. This role lies within the internal media team, specifically supporting media campaign efforts within retail product introductions, search engine marketing and gift cards. The ideal candidate would be comfortable serving as a lead and as a team consultant depending on the project and program. Scope involves all activities from planning to campaign reporting, optimization and billing. 

This role involves coordinating among multiple stakeholders, including Marketing, Creative Studio and Strategy/Business Intelligence, Martech, as well as with their media and creative agency partners and media vendors. The desired candidate will have a strong media background with depth in digital media and specific expertise in direct response campaigns, Search Engine Marketing, and targeting methodologies. This candidate would need to be knowledgeable in the programmatic ecosystem, PMPs, DSPs, Ad exchange partners, 3rd party data sources, and success metrics for deployment of these tools for campaigns as well as ongoing organizational improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manager Media role is focused primarily on media support for Retail, Rewards, and new brand initiatives. Digital media responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: 
  • Maintain visibility and coordination across campaigns to ensure enterprise wide digital media activity is being managed and upheld to industry best practices and company standards 
  • Ensure proper stewardship of media spend 
  • Communicate and socialize media strategies, tactics, insights, learnings, and reporting with key internal stakeholders 
  • Inform and guide digital media measurement and campaign KPI’s 
  • Build and maintain relationships with agency, industry and cross-functional partners 
  • Socialize company's media learnings and benchmarks internally 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • 3-5+ years of digital media experience, with expertise in search, digital, and direct response 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to drive digital media thought leadership across organization, at all organizational levels 
  • On-going knowledge of industry best practices, challenges and landscape 
  • Experience working with agency partners, and specific expertise in driving agency partner innovation, efficiency and strategic partnerships 
  • Functional experience with digital measurement tools and data targeting 
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills and attention to detail
