Marketing Manager: Media Agency Specialist

Our large financial services client is looking for a Media Marketing Manager for a year long contract assignment with potential for permanent conversion. This role is in a newly developed Advertising team which is responsible for the media buying, media strategy, and governance. Working with a $45mil budget, this team is the go-between for the client’s media buying agency and the clients various lines of business. The ideal candidate will have previously worked for a media agency and posses both project management skills and technical skills in a data management platform such as: Adobe Audience Manager or Atlas.

Responsibilities:
50% Project Management:

- Organize and steward weekly status meetings with Maxus for all lines of business.
- Manage meeting notes, publish next steps and track action items.
- General support with legal compliance /retention process for Advertising assets and Maxus invoicing & budget management.
- Assist on a variety of digital advertising related campaign projects including display banner advertising, paid search, emails, reporting dashboards, ad trafficking sheet, landing pages and websites.
- Coordinate campaign requirements and deliverables between internal resources, external teams and third parties/vendors to ensure all needed assets, resources, costs and deadlines are identified and managed day-to-day to successfully meet organizational expectations and project.
- Create and maintain project documentation such project plans, media briefs, status reports (internal and external), change requests, campaign reporting, etc.
- Create and update processes and documentation to create efficiencies within media team and internal business stakeholders

50% Ad-Tech and Operations

- Experience with Data Management Platforms is a PLUS (DMP).
- Experience with Market Share for reporting and analytics is a PLUS.
- 2-5 years of experience at a media agency with a fair amount of experience in ad operations and ad technology experience is a MUST.
- BA/BS -2+ years experience in implementing search campaigns, optimize and analyze results.
- 3-5 years of experience working in an agency/media environment with a technology focus
