Marketing Manager, Investment Banking (temp-to-perm)

Aquent's client, a privately held investment firm, needs a Marketing Manager with Investment Bank experience to join their Institutional Marketing team. You will join a group that is experiencing tremendous international growth, and assist the business development and investment teams with every aspect of their branding, marketing, and communications initiatives.

You will be responsible for the development and ongoing management of pitch books, marketing collateral and other communications to support the team's new business development and client retention efforts. You will do more than just execute on others' ideas; you will be expected to bring your skills of analysis and insight to the table and develop new concepts and material to grow the business.

Responsibilities:
• Manage marketing material production process, including updating existing collateral and sales support material on a quarterly/monthly basis. This includes the entire process of requesting information, follow-up, analysis in Excel, editing in PowerPoint, stakeholder reviews, Compliance, and internal distribution. Execute tactically on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop custom books in conjunction with Business Developers and PMs, with oversight, for specific client and prospect meetings as needed.
• Handling and delivering on requests for materials from Business Developers, Investment teams, and other internal teams.
• Obtain all required compliance approvals and internal feedback on material, incorporate edits and manage production process through completion.
• Build strong partnerships with the members of the Institutional Distribution team and internal colleagues across all departments of the firm including corporate communications, product specialists, compliance and others.
• Help maintain any document libraries of collateral, including shared folders, team intranet, and client exchange portal.
• Work autonomously, with necessary guidance, on ad hoc projects to support sales and management team as requested

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing or finance.
• 3-5 years in the financial services industry, particularly investment banking; astute familiarity with institutional investment management products and sales processes.
• Must have an understanding of the institutional channel, particularly marketing needs.
• Proven ability to work with client-facing teams to create and implement impactful marketing material for prospects and investment consultants.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
