Marketing Manager II

Our client is looking for a partner marketing rock-star to join their team—someone who will work through our key partners in the ecommerce platform and services industry to increase awareness, engagement and adoption among their merchant-customers. This person thoroughly understands the mechanics of business-to-business marketing and has successfully built and maintained channel marketing programs in cooperation with partners. They will be responsible for maximizing adoption within the merchant base of each partner through the development of marketing programs that mutually benefit the client as well as their partners.

Scope includes:
• Collaborate with E-commerce, Digital and Processing partners as well as customers to design mutually beneficial marketing plans to reach, educate and engage their merchants about the clients service.
• Collaborate with Account Management to develop merchant co-marketing programs that encourage buyers to use the service on their customer’s websites.
• Produce and execute marketing programs, campaigns, and promotions across various channels, including email, virtual and physical events, display, social media, and others.
• Measure, monitor, and optimize the performance of these programs to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
• Work closely with sales, account management, integration, product management, and marketing teams to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
• Create marketing collateral to support your campaigns including online, print and video media; manage internal & external agencies and creative partners as needed.
• Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall financial performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
• Work with the product managers to define necessary product/service improvements and new areas for innovation.

Required Skills:
- 4+ years progressive marketing experience
- 2 years digital marketing experience
- 2 year partner marketing experience
- Strong writing skills
- Strong excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables and advanced formulas all highly preferred)
- Marketing Automation: Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua, Hubspot or comparable tool (certification ideal, but not required)
- Knowledge of digital marketing best practices
- Experience setting up digital marketing tracking and evaluating digital marketing campaign performance
- Analytical approach to marketing; metrics/ROI focused

Preferred skills:
- Analytics: Google, Omniture or comparable tool
- Marketo Certified Expert
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce (CRM)
- Social media marketing skills
- Experience managing campaigns and A/B testing to drive optimization
- Clear understanding of how to build and deliver integrated marketing campaigns
