Marketing Manager, Customer Segment Marketing - WECJP00002954

Our client's eCommerce team is seeking a talented, experienced Marketing Manager to support the strategic development and day-to-day management of customer segment marketing programs and activities. He/she will help to develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers, to increase frequency of visits and purchases among existing customers, and to differentiate and drive customer preference for com products and services.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Consumer Insights. Turn information into consumer insights.
o Leverage a wealth of primary and secondary customer data sources to surface and identify actionable customer insights. Become a knowledgeable, go-to resource on assigned customer segment, and develop an insights-driven perspective to inform targeted marketing tactics.
• Strategy and Planning. Leverage insights to capture business opportunity.
o Plan and manage media and traffic-driving initiatives. Work with cross-functional media channel leads to estimate and deliver on targeted initiative traffic requirements.
o Propose innovative solutions to customer issue/need(s) that present an opportunity for Brand Support the development of strategies that will drive value for the business.
o Facilitate cross-functional alignment by helping to develop and defend the case for proposed customer segment strategies and their potential impact on the business with guidance.

• Execution and Optimization. Bring strategies to market and optimize for ROI.
o Steward program strategies through cross-functional approval process and work with manager to refine and hone as needed to set them up for success
o Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement targeted acquisition, retention and loyalty or frequency-driving programs
o Manage the implementation of customer-targeted programs to deliver on business objectives. Facilitate efficient deployment with strong project management skills (e.g., identifies milestones or progress checkpoints, involves key stakeholders and cross-functional leadership as appropriate, understands project dependencies and parallel workstreams, anticipate analytics requirements).
o Optimize to drive long-term results. With guidance from manager follow through after launch to adapt or pivot strategies per the business environment or performance against expected/estimated results

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required
• 1-2 years of experience with owned/earned/paid media, esp. digital marketing vehicles
• Track record of managing digital/online marketing activities or tactics with a focus on delivering value
• Adaptability and flexibility, and a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience with demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional projects
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills (written, presentation, meetings)

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Experience in e-commerce, shopper marketing or digital project management
• Passion for retail and online shopping
• Curiosity around understanding customer needs/desires/issues and pursuing innovative business solutions to address
• High enthusiasm, energy and confidence
