Marketing Manager: Brand & Strategic Customer Communication Planning

Our client is a well-known charity across the UK & Wales looking to hire a new Marketing manager with expertise in Branding, Planning and Strategic Customer Communication.
This is a large and complex organization so experience in an organisation like this, either in the private or public sector would be of use.

You must be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and be happy managing a wide variety of stakeholders.

You must be an effective problem solver who is passionate about evaluating, changing and improving marketing activities within an organisation.

This role will involve evaluating what has worked and why and making the appropriate changes to increase overall customer engagement.

Must have skills and experience:

Extensive experience in running successful, large-scale integrated brand-building campaigns that result in measurable boosts to brand consideration.
Experience of working in an integrated communications planning team, in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
Evaluation and constant monitoring campaign activity across multiple stakeholders to ensure we are reaching the maximum number of individuals possible at the earliest stage possible.
Experience of leading, devising, implementing and evaluating multiple marketing campaigns within a strategic marketing team.
Experience of working within a cross-functional team.
Experience of working on customer research projects
Strong communication and people skills
Planning and organisation of events, resources and other activities to very tight deadlines

Additional skills desirable:

Direct marketing, research & relationship marketing
Managing budgets up to £700k minimum.
Managing or mentoring staff.
Providing consistent planning across brand and communications.
Evaluation of brand building activities.
Partnering with other organisations or departments effectively.
Experience of developing CRM or other fundraising strategies for large organisations.
