Job Summary and Mission:

This job contributes to client's success by supporting and assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans and programs for a promotion, brand initiative, and/or category. Models and acts in accordance with client guiding principles.

Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Assists the development of marketing business plans, promotional recaps and creative briefs. Supports the development of presentations for senior leadership. Prepares written communication materials such as creative & project briefs, workbook content, meeting recaps and project recommendations. Supports the development of cross functional meeting agendas and distributes meeting minutes. May manage key internal communication vehicles (such as Share Point). Conducts and analyzes qualitative and quantitative research to develop key findings and recommended actions. Develops and manages tracking system for competitive information and provides analysis on projected impact. Analyzes the relationship between products and customer experience and trends, and identifies opportunities. Manages project timelines to deliver products and programs.Works with crossfunctional partners to ensure the best available costs, terms and quality. Fosters crossfunctional relationships with multiple business units, partners and customers. Supports the management of assigned marketing budget for key promotions and projects. Creates and implements tools to drive consistent brand experience across channels, markets and product lines. May lead development of projects, programs and promotions. Creates and presents the business case for new programs or initiatives to support growth strategies and brand development through analysis of key issues. Analyzes pre and post business performance against plan. May manage crossfunctional teams in support of marketing activities. Ensures issues are resolved in a timely manner. Coordinates with other departments to ensure marketing and communication initiatives are aligned with the global brand strategic direction. Serves as primary day to day contact with agency project manager for assigned projects. Develops and manages vendor agreements and vendor relations, as needed.

Summary of Experience:

Progressive Experience in product or brand management: 3+ years. Project management experience: 2 years. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Functional brand and promotional marketing expertise. Knowledge of direct or indirect retail, CPG and brand marketing. Progressive experience in marketing program development/planning and implementation. Communications planning and brand management. Strong communicator: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to influence outcomes. Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion. Problem solving and creative thinking: Ability to think creatively. Ability to problem solve and drive towards resolution. Ability to evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy. Analytical skills: Solid analytical and measurement/tracking skills. Conduct analysis and present data and findings clearly, concisely and accurately. Project and process management skills: Ability to manage time and budget effectively, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvements. Crossfunctional collaboration and leadership: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and/or facilitating crossfunctional or organizational groups. Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group, and recognizes the importance of solid relationships. Change management: Ability to work in a changing environment.
