Build and implement communications strategies and advertising plans that bring the brand experience to life across paid, earned and owned channels, while driving towards our business goals in Retail and CPG channels. Models and acts in accordance with client's guiding principles. Creative management experience 5+years; agency experience preferred.

- Strategic planning and advertising execution (preference for Retail and CPG experience)
- Relationship management with external agencies, vendors or business partners
- Leading and facilitating cross-functional or organizational groups

Creative strategy for products and anything related to rewards programs. They would possibly stretch across other projects within coffee campaigns. They will need to be comfortable not having 100% ownership of a project and working closely with a team. It's also creative production across film, digital, and print assets.

If they don't have 5 years managing production or creative project they need to demonstrate deep knowledge within a project. If they have less than they need to be able to show that they understand full project life cycle including managing digital production timelines. They need to feel comfortable and confident within this process prior to walking in.

Heavier production leaning, so more execution vs creative strategy - how do you bring the creative lens on top of the execution, they will need to take on ownership for their production and will work alongside the managers and lead for the strategy. They need to be very collaborative, not "I own, or I drive", you will be working very closely with the teams and groups.

Top 3:
1. They need to have digital production experience
2. Need to demonstrate that they've worked across multiple projects at the same time
3. Needs to be relationship management experience where they can demonstrate how they inspire and lead and work across different teams

The team prefers agency experience over client experience

Team of 4 who manage all of the out of store communication for Starbucks. They manage things from the scale of a holiday promotion to one off sponsorship ads that are quick turn around. Primarily they will need to take in the brief and kick off the agencies and creative resources to get the cross functional alignments in order to release and approve the projects. They will be supporting team members and work together on a project or work with other teams to facilitate and support these initiatives. This team is very fast paced, so it can feel at times high pressure. This candidates will need to have a natural sense of urgency and be able to take initiative.

- Supports management of internal and external creative teams, agencies and vendors to develop integrated customer communications materials. Interacts daily with seasoned creative and media agency team members.

Nice to haves: Someone who is familiar with production and planning (i.e needing a vision to line up baristas and aprons for a store shoot). They would ideally have agency experience and know how to work with creative teams and have cross functional team experience. They need to have a sense of urgency and prioritize the different projects that are constantly on their plate. They team typically has tight turn around, they need to have experience taking in a brief and turning around a proposal in two weeks (typical) but can be as little as three days. Divide and concur mentality, doesn't need 100% oversight at all times.
