Marketing Manager

A growing marketing team at a F500 innovative financial company is looking for an experienced marketing manager to plan and execute marketing programs having to do with expanding the brand’s foothold on market share. The Marketing Manager is a key player in bringing new programs to market and transitioning them into the ‘business as usual’ marketing workflow across all channels.

Responsibilities and Duties:
· Working closely with the dedicated business unit, develop marketing program plans and goals that support their business objectives/marketing strategies
· Assist in creation of sales resources (collateral, presentations, training modules, demos) and sales enablement initiatives (events, sponsorships, speaker series, advertising, microsites)
· Support development of marketing content plan to drive thought leadership
· Support segmentation and targeting strategy
· Partner with core marketing subject matter experts to brainstorm, plan and accomplish deliverables
· Direct external agency partners and other vendors on projects, timelines, budgets and deliverables
· Manage stakeholder alignment and issue resolution using sophisticated executive influence skills
· Manage all aspects of timely and quality deliverable completion to support the plan
· Manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation

Key Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
· Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a related role
· Strong writing, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to understand complex processes and technologies, and translate into simple concepts (written, graphical, architectural, and verbal). Strong command of Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.
· Strong strategic thinker with a results orientation who approaches any challenge with thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgency
· Proven ability to drive creation of campaign content and assets (whitepapers, infographics, videos, etc.) to support marketing strategy
· Collaborative and “hands-on” team leader and player who builds strong relationships internally and externally, and works well under pressure, thriving under tight deadlines
· Digitally savvy with track record of using digital and social effectively
· Manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper escalation
· Can analyze complex problems and situations, solutions driven
· Bachelor degree in business/marketing or equivalent training required
