Great contract to hire opportunity with a national non-profit as a Marketing Manager.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing patient- and provider-focused marketing initiatives to promote participation in the Foundation’s Patient Navigation Center. Responsibilities include creating marketing materials, coordinating promotional activities and events, and assisting the Marketing & Communications Department with other marketing projects and duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements marketing strategies and plans
  • Creates marketing materials for patients and medical providers to promote the Navigation Center
  • Creates marketing content on multiple platforms that drives Navigation Center participation
  • Develop and identify stories from Navigation Center clients for print and online media
  • Conducts regular marketing research and analyzes impact of Navigation Center’s marketing activities
  • Coordinates marketing and promotional activities with other Psoriasis Foundation programs and events
  • Generates weekly, biweekly and monthly reports of upcoming projects to help manage resources and priorities
  • Tracks progress and provides regular updates to internal and external team members on the status of projects
  • Works with outside vendors to get cost and timing estimates and sends production files for print, promotional materials and ad placements, while managing deadlines and deliverables
  • Sets and maintains marketing calendars
  • Assists Marketing & Communications department with other projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • 3 + years of experience in marketing and project management
  • Experience in a start-up environment valued
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with nonprofit organizations, health/advocacy groups, patient audiences
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects and activities
  • Must be organized and process oriented
  • Understanding of marketing principles and techniques
