Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will work across business channels and functions to develop a site traffic plan and the necessary marketing strategies. This position will build diverse marketing initiatives designed to drive traffic to the site and to the brick and mortar stores. An in-depth understanding of online marketing principles and a desire to push conceptual thinking and the latest online marketing trends will be critical in creating experiences that connect with current and future customers and the community. This is a rare and unique opportunity to participate in the creation of a new online retail presence for a legendary local retailer from the ground up!

Essential Duties and Responsibility:
• Develop a multi-year site traffic plan across key marketing programs.
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on marketing program performance.
• Analyze and optimize digital campaigns and their impact on website and brick and mortar traffic.
• Partner with advertising team to coordinate calendars, campaigns, and messaging.
• Manage email campaigns and drive email file growth goals.
• Manage SEM program.
• Drive website SEO optimization.
• Manage partnerships with Quantcast, Adroll, and others.
• Manage the relationship with social media agency.

Other Duties:
• Keep up-to-date with current online marketing trends and technologies.
• Monitor the competitive marketplace for new traffic driving strategies and tactics.
• Must possess a “startup” mentality and the ability to potentially work through ambiguity.
• This position works under minimal supervision and must work closely with the Advertising Department, Vendors, Information Technology Department, and other team members.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
• BA. in Business, Marketing, Communication or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years in an online marketing role.
• Preferably certified in Google AdWords and Analytics.
• Experience using email marketing platforms.
