Marketing Manager

Our F500 payment technology company creates and markets commerce management and related services for merchants, worldwide. Our platform, consisting of a global payment gateway, fraud and security management solutions, and customer engagement services such as loyalty, offers and co-brand programs enable merchants to innovate, optimize and grow. We are looking for an experienced B2B marketer to help us expand business in the Latin America and Caribbean region.

Working closely with the Merchant Sales and Solution (MSS) Marketing and Sales teams in LAC and Corporate, you will play a vital role in the creation of demand generation and sales enablement programs to drive merchant solution adoption in the LAC region. In this diverse marketing role, you’ll create regional sales and partner enablement tools and programs, support local PR and related reputation development activity, and design and implement awareness and demand generation campaigns. This position is based in Miami, Florida office and reports to the Director, LAC MSS Marketing.

Responsibilities/Key Results Areas

Working with the Director, LAC MSS Marketing
• Drive awareness of Merchant Solutions and build thought leadership capabilities, including supporting the development and execution of the local PR plan
• Deliver tools and content to enable Visa MSS sales engagement with merchants and partners for assigned programs
• Design, develop and manage assigned regional events and demand programs from concept to execution
• Deliver tools, programs and content to enable partner sales and co-marketing in region
• Develop messaging, positioning and conversation roadmap(s) based on buyer journey
• Concept, design, leverage and develop content, tools and resources (whitepapers, presentations, webinars, surveys, ROI tools, benchmarking tools, key messages, Q&As, scripts, etc.) required at each point in buying cycle (for demand offers and sales enablement) for use in LAC programs
• Manage regional web presence (in collaboration with corporate digital marketing team)
• Contribute to the development and execution of the regional marketing roadmap
• Work with local agency/Visa Corporate communications resources to develop PR plan (media and industry analysts)

Required Experience & Competencies

We are seeking a B2B marketing professional with business savvy, and an ability to both plan effectively and strategically, as well as deliver tactically. Key requirements include:
• 7+ years B2B marketing experience, ideally spanning solutions marketing, PR and demand generation disciplines, preferably for enterprise software or SaaS based-solutions, particularly those targeting business process transformation or automation. Knowledge of eCommerce operations and/or payment services experience desired
• Experience at both large and small companies preferred, demonstrating ability to exercise a broad range of marketing skills and achieve objectives with moderate resources, while also understanding how larger companies execute and the standards of output associated therewith.
• Experience defining, building and executing direct and partner/channel programs
• Familiarity with marketing automation systems and SFA systems such as Salesforce desired
• Sound marketing acumen
• Strong communications skills (written, translating messages into graphic concepts, verbal)
• Sound organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously
• Strong project management skills
• Great attention to detail, hands-on and results driven
• Proofing/copywriting experience
• Collaborative work style and being able to work with different areas
• Very fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus)

Preferred Education

• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience
