Marketing Manager

Position Description:
As the Products Production Manager, you will oversee all aspects of production for all licensed merchandise, including apparel, accessories, toys, collectibles, print & digital publications and home video & digital distribution. This management includes daily and long range product planning and execution, consumer products vendor team management and quality control. In addition, you will manage Special Projects as required.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of product development, including talent relations, product planning, execution and quality control
• Thoroughness and attention to all details of all production, including 500+ products annually, their production timelines, assets required to build those products, line list reviews and approvals, packaging deadlines, internal approvals and special attention to deadlines and long range product planning
• Create and manage a detailed production planner, with all product sku’s and manufacturing deadlines
• Hire and manage a team of vendors, supervising their workload, prioritizing tasks, leading their initiatives and troubleshooting production challenges
• Coordinate with all partners to ensure a complimentary product offering that aligns with the strategic plan
• Create and manage the long range product plan for the consumer products program, in collaboration with the Lead & other Category Managers
• Collaborate with the business & management teams in the new partner selection process
• Create special programs for partner exclusives at retail, including display creation and signage and collaborate with Sales & Marketing Manager to deliver results at retail
• Design and deliver recommendations for new cross collaborations amongst consumer products partners
• Must communicate well with the Studio stakeholders and manage deadlines effectively
• Must communicate well with external business partners, acting professionally to convey the message
• Manage art, marketing and game code assets (archiving, organizing) and work with game studios to retrieve and deliver them to licensees and/or agencies

Job Requirements:
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task over various projects in a timely manner
• Project management expertise, with specific focus on attention to detail, tracking and meeting deadlines
• Strong people management, leadership skills and relationship building skills
• Knowledge of consumer products goods, including product development, manufacture, sales and distribution of toys, games, apparel, home video, print, digital distribution
• Strong personal initiative and good judgment; desire to succeed in a demanding, innovative, and entrepreneurial environment

Experience:
• BA/BS or work experience equivalent
7+ years of real world experience in production management of broad consumer products merchandise categories required
