Marketing Manager

My client is looking for a Marketing Manager, this role is a fixed term contract (6-12 months), maternity cover.

Job Purpose

To act as UK and Ireland marketing manager for Large Corporate, Risk Consulting (RC) and Private Equity and Merger and Acquisition (PEMA) divisions.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the marketing function of these business practices in the UK and Ireland, including strategic planning, implementation of the strategy and plan and to build/create the profile of these business practices in this country.


Main Responsibilities

Develop and implement a marketing strategy supported by a fully costed and integrated marketing plan for UK Large Corporates, RC and PEMA and ensure all initiatives meet the commercial and sales strategy.
Work closely with UK Large Corporates, RC and PEMA leadership team to raise the profile, provide strategic marketing advice and to ensure consistency and integrated marketing across the UK business areas.
Manage the marketing budget for UK Large Corporates, RC and PEMA and marketing projects
Work with RMP sales, speciality sales and where appropriate the industry practices to ensure that the marketing messages are aligned to those of the wider business.
Responsible for the management and development of the marketing executive for Large Corporate, RC and PEMA.
Manage and develop the corporate sponsorship and partnership with the Association of Insurance and Risk Managers (AIRMIC) on behalf of the company.
Manage all aspects of the marketing communications mix (media, online, research, print production, internal communications)
Manage the production of marketing literature including messaging, editing, proof-reading and briefing central graphics team to deliver in a timely manner and within the parameters of the brand.
Manage the production of reports and white papers develop marketing campaigns to support them.
Lead agreed sector/ topic research initiatives and implement marketing actions arising out of them.
Identify and propose topical risk issues and news stories for media relations activities in conjunction with UK Media Manager.
Develop and manage the internal communications programme (in conjunction with the UK Internal Communication Manager) to support marketing campaigns and provide support on management communications.
Manage and organise client events, seminars, roundtables, webinars and briefings.
Supply content to the various content's websites to ensure marketing campaigns are fully integrated and supported by online promotion.
Work closely with other Practice areas and the Corporate Communications team on joint campaigns.
Provide regular updates of marketing activity at the respective executive meeting and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns/activities against ROI and specific KPIs.
Manage the marketing and communications sign off process
