Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for initiating, and delivering, on-time; error-free marketing projects that endorse company ideals, client service standards and meet budget expectations. This individual will be required to interface with many departments and levels within the company and within client institutions in order to lead projects that are agreed upon and approved by all interested parties, prior to final deployment.
Successful candidates have high attention to detail, excellent time management skills and the ability to operate within internal and external teams with utmost professionalism. A background in print production, trafficking and implementation is strongly recommended.

· Responsible for the design and delivery of the Personal Enrollment Prospectus and award letter programs

· Develops a comprehensive understanding of the higher education industry as it pertains to enrollment and financial aid. Becomes immersed in each client’s specific program in order to add value and direction throughout the implementation process.

· Establishes and implement multi-channel (email, direct mail, phone calls, SMS) communications programs that support client program activity.

· Utilizes established project management and project tracking standards within company project tracking system.

· Prepares for and leads enrollment marketing program implementation calls with clients and .

· Documents project goals and requirements in accordance with established procedures.

· Directs internal and external freelance design and writing resources to achieve project goals, while ensuring adherence to client branding standards and internal template requirements.

· Interacts directly with clients and teams to translate business and brand goals into innovative and meaningful outcomes in a professional and consultative fashion to obtain feedback and approvals as necessary.

· Collaborates with internal project team to communicate status and coordinate project details and next steps.

· Maintains on-time delivery of all required elements according to project schedules.

· Tracks and logs time according to established standards.

· Ensures quality at every step throughout the process from mock up to proofing to live print production.

· BA/BS preferred, or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of experience successfully managing multiple marketing projects in a professional services environment
· Experience with leading a team of creative resources including art directors, designers and copywriters (internal and freelance)
· Experience in successfully managing and trafficking print production campaigns from start to completion. Ability to ensure continuity and timely routing of projects.
· Ability to manage projects, budgets and cross functional teams and to work interdependently with various departments
· Superb organizational skills including planning, documentation, and time management
· Thorough understanding of corporate/brand guidelines
· Professional, accountable, and creative
· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Experience with Photoshop, and Adobe
· Excellent attention to detail to ensure continuity and accuracy of art and layout
· Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to manage several projects concurrently with effective resolution of conflicting priorities and with minimal supervision
· Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment
