We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Manager who wants to join our Milwaukee-based client who was named among Milwaukee’s Future 50 and as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the country by Inc. 500. This new position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a marketing team that is creating and defining an emerging area within a niche industry! As Marketing Manager, you would work with the home office staff, a field sales organization, a network of wholesale distributors, and the specialty retail channels across the country. The Marketing Manager position will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will also have opportunities to interact with the CEO of the Company on strategic initiatives. Further, our growth plans for the future will provide personal and professional opportunities as the Company expands.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of marketing experience in consumer products. Outlined below is a summary of some of the planned responsibilities and the background we seek for this newly-created position:

Position Overview:
>Play an integral part of advancing the Company’s marketing initiatives working in a team environment
>Create and develop a digital communication strategy, including accompanying tactics across social media platforms and communities
>Identify opportunities, tools, trends, recommended enhancements, and justifiable metrics for digital media, including the role of influencers
>Manage consumer research resources (to include quantitative, qualitative, and syndicated data) to monitor target audience demographics and purchasing behavior
>Active in the development of consumer and trade promotional programs
>Lead project management across cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Finance) in execution of new product introduction and ongoing initiatives
>Explores, evaluates, and advocates best practices and industry trends to assess new growth opportunities
>Works with third parties including agencies, suppliers, and vendors
>Works on special initiatives as requested by the Director of Marketing

Desired Knowledge and Skills:
>Demonstrated success in managing digital and social media initiatives
>Direct experience in managing consumer research and application of learning to processes
>Significant experience in managing cross-functional projects and time management skills to work in a time-sensitive environment
>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including copywriting and editing
>Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
>Self-driven to achieve goals, high energy level, strong work ethic, and team player
