Marketing Manager

This is a key account marketing role, as a senior member of the Communications, Media & High Tech (CMT) marketing team. This full time role involves supporting the CMT UKI Marketing Lead in creating marketing programmes to underpin our business with companies in the Communications (telecoms and mobile operators), Media & Entertainment (broadcasting, music, printing etc) and Electronics & High Tech (including electronics and aerospace & defence) industries.

This role will be in a top of class marketing team and work with other teams across the company to create programmes to support the company's business development in a specific range of client companies and contacts. There is minimal requirement to create new content and programmes: rather, to repurpose existing content and programmes for these clients.

The Marketing team works very closely with the Sales Lead in order to focus our marketing activity to align with and support the business targets of the Communications, Media & High Tech Operating Group in the UK and Ireland – this is a very sales and business targets focused role.

Main activities in this role include:

- Client Centric Marketing (CCM) programmes / Relationship Building

For our top clients in these industries, working with the account teams on strategic marketing to support the relationship development with a defined number of decision makers.

Ensuring that programmes from Accenture globally are rolled out to support our strategic relationship building. These programmes would include CMT industry specific marketing activities (including events and campaigns), and marketing campaigns and programmes from the Management Consulting, Technology Consulting and Outsourcing marketing groups.

Identifying requirements for and developing new programmes, liaising with other marketing teams to resource this activity.

- Opportunity Centric Marketing (OCM) / Bid Support Marketing

Supporting centralised bid marketing teams with industry-specific input as required.

Develop additional programmes as required, but CCM and OCM with the key clients are the focus.


Tasks this person will need to perform

• Account planning with the client account teams/sales function, and producing strategic relationship development and marketing plans to support key clients and contacts (largely C-level decision makers within the clients). Executing these plans.
• Supporting bid activity on major sales opportunities. Working with the bid teams to develop win themes, recommend and execute marketing activity to support the sales cycle.
• Researching and understanding the client companies within the industry and making recommendations on marketing activity to support our business development with these companies.

General marketing support for the firm's business with clients in these industries and participation in / liaison with the other marketing teams around the company in order to roll out their programmes in this industry. Identifying and managing resources internally and externally (including agencies and suppliers) in order to complete our objectives.


Skills and experience required include:

• Strong general B2B marketing background, ideally having worked on marketing to enterprise key accounts.
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the telecoms, media and tech industries in the UK & Ireland and globally.

Knowledge of Salesforce.com or other CRM system is desirable but not essential.
