Marketing Manager

My client "one of the largest Software companies in the world" is seeking a Maternity cover for a Marketing Manager role
4 day work week £130 Dayrate

You will work with one of four of my client's partners providing marketing insight and support. You will help advise and guide partners with marketing strategies and provide a high-energy "glass is half" full approach to your role. The ideal candidate will have had previous roles in marketing ideally with a channel or partner marketing position where they have driven marketing strategies and campaigns with a high passion approach. They will be keen to learn and have ideally worked within the Technology industry though this is not essential.
They four key things the manager is seeking is:

- Marketing background and strong appreciation for marketing mediums
- Channel or Software Vendor Marketing background
- Eagerness to work in a pressurised high energy environment
- Strong People Person
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple parties at one time. Finally will be passionate about the brand and about delivery.
Interviews will be a 2 stage process

• Own the creation and delivery of the shared marketing plan with each Partner.
• Support the plan execution through partner.
• Track marketing plan delivery and component ROI.

Partner Enablement & Readiness.

• Show audience leadership by working collaboratively with internal readiness team to enable partners to drive current & future business priorities.

Channel Incentives/Sales Floor Alignment.

• Own the creation and execution of channel incentive plans to maximize impact on our partners sales floor.
• Support your partners in understanding the guidelines of which they can use their channel incentives.

Cross Team Collaboration

• Collaboratively work as part of the broader Teams to enable marketing to be a key lever in the delivery of the broader scale business priorities.
• Work as a key member of the SMB Marketing & Operations Group. Provide insight from your channel audience and work towards us achieving our mutual objectives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

1. Essential Experience
a. Financial and/or Operations
b. Channel Partner Experience (DMR/Scale/VAR/Disti)
c. Marketing Support/Campaign management
2. Personal Attributes
Driven person who is passionate about how Microsoft can and do win vs the competition. Exceptional organizational skills (ideally project management experience). Interpersonal skills are key for the role to ultimately be an agile cross company influencer. Excellent communication skills. Ability to listen, distill issues and provide leadership style feedback
3. Qualifications
University degree of equivalent experience. Project Management professional qualification would be preferable
