Marketing Manager

We are looking for a talented marketing professional to contribute to the success of a national retail brand by leading the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans and programs for a promotion, brand initiatives, and/or category with specific focus on consumer packaged goods. This individual will collaborate with teams across the organization to plan and execute marketing strategies & programs which achieve company financial and business objectives and further the brand awareness.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Functional brand and promotional marketing expertise : Knowledge of direct or indirect retail and brand marketing. Progressive experience in marketing program development/planning and implementation. Communications planning and brand management.
Strong communicator : Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to persuade others and influence outcomes. Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion.
Critical strategic and creative thinking : Ability to think strategically and creatively. Ability to problem-solve and drive towards resolution. Ability to write focused, strategic briefs, and evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy.
Business and financial acumen : Strong analytical and measurement/tracking skills. Conduct analysis and present data and findings clearly, concisely and accurately. Be able to draw meaningful conclusions and indicated actions, and set performance benchmarks.
Project and process management skills : Ability to manage time and budget effectively, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvements.
Cross-functional collaboration and leadership : Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and/or facilitating cross-functional or organizational groups. Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group, and recognizes the importance of solid relationships.
Agency management : Direct or indirect management of internal and/or external agencies.
Change management : Ability to work in a changing environment.

Marketing Initiatives Include:
- Menu Evolution - strategy/recommendations for optimizing and redesigning new menu boards for next phases of retail program
- New cup transition - managing transition of branded cups for retail and foodservice
- Test & Learn Marketing Calendar (managing the execution and measurement of tests, ideating future test tactics)
- Digital In-store Marketing (ideating, optimizing and executing creative for our digital posters)
- Marketing Support for Upcoming Grand Openings – retail stores in Seattle, NYC
- Marketing Plans to support store remodels - 2 planned
- Other day to day tasks will include project management of current promotions and ongoing field support
