Job Description

Our leading financial services client is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their Capital Markets Marketing Team. The Capital Markets group is responsible for trading and selling Capital Markets products and services to the banks' Financial Advisors and clients. Investment products include Equities, Fixed Income, Structured Investments, Options and Exchange & Closed End Funds. This role is based in NYC and Purchase, NY. The successful candidate will be a detail oriented, creative thinker who has the ability to work in a fast moving trading desk environment.

Responsibilities include

  • Manage the rebranding of all Capital Markets marketing materials (some 350+ collateral items).

  • Manage the review and re-approval process of existing Capital Markets marketing materials – including brochures, articles, presentations, advertisements, templates etc. Duties to include writing, editing, formatting and steering such materials through the product, compliance and legal approval process

  • Working with the Internal Communications Manager, manage the field communications plan for all capital markets initiatives. Duties will include liaising with IT, infrastructure and business administration to write, edit and approve all internal communications and ensure successful distribution.

  • Help create sales and educational materials for Financial Advisors for all Capital Markets products and services.

  • Work with Capital Markets sales, product and trading managers to ensure that campaigns and collateral are relevant and accurate.

  • Work with firm’s internal Compliance and Legal departments to ensure that all materials are compliant with regulatory requirements.

  • Use the web content management system to upload Capital Markets desk commentary, trade ideas and marketing collateral to internal websites. Create usage reports.

  • Create powerpoint presentations for management, sales and content teams.

  • Maintain documentation of appropriate L&C and Registered Principal 24 review and approval.

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and follow-up

  • Strong aptitude in all Microsoft Office applications

  • Experience in multimedia applications

  • Self-motivated, innovative and hard working individual who can handle changing priorities and multiple tasks

  • Strong time management/prioritization skills and solid judgment

  • Must be a customer service oriented team-player eager to assist colleagues and members of the department at all levels

  • General securities knowledge a plus
