Marketing Manager

This position is a 6 month freelance Mobile Marketing Management position that requires fluency in Spanish at a top financial services company in the San Francisco Bay area. They are looking for an an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to manage large-scale marketing products to drive the growth of mobile payment solutions in emerging markets. Projects will range from brand platform development, design and delivery of consumer research, to the creation of both B2B and B2C marketing collateral. This role is part of a global team and interacts weekly with counterparts in other time zones, and thus requires some flexibility to attend some early morning and early evening conference calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in the development and drive the implementation of annual marketing plan based on marketing objectives and strategies.
Drive the execution specific projects related to brand platform development, consumer research, and B2B and B2C marketing programs and collateral.
Lead projects within cross-functional and/or cross-regional team that may include representation from Marketing, Product, Sales, Corporate Relations, Corporate Events, Market Research and external agencies.
Manage project budgets and ensure on-plan delivery of programs and financials.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree required/MBA preferred with 10+ years of business experience in marketing roles that involved strategy, planning and execution, preferably across multiple marketing disciplines.
Professionally qualified or equivalent with experience of staff, product, service or project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated track record of implementing marketing strategies based on business objectives and managing marketing programs that delivered measurable business results.
Experience managing external advertising and/or marketing communications agency partners and/or consumer research projects.
A demonstrated ability to integrate information from a wide variety of sources to arrive at optimal problem solutions and offer innovative alternatives and options towards resolution.
Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact.
Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills, and leads by influence and example.
Exceptional project management skills and is able to drive consensus in cross regional and cross functional teams.
Proficient on all Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Enthusiasm for technology-based (particularly mobile) products and innovation required.
Experience in digital payments (online, mobile, digital wallets, etc.) strongly preferred.
