Marketing Manager

Digital Agency is looking for a marketing person who will be responsible for implementing campaigns that build brand awareness and reputation while providing a steady flow of sales leads. The Manager will generate a positive return on marketing program investments.

Duties & Responsibilities (in order of importance):
• Manage all outside agencies and vendors.
• Drive content production and stay on track with publishing calendar.
• Manage social media channels, including: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
• Manage Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
• Manage the production of Sales support and collateral materials including data sheets, white papers, and presentations.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to support their ongoing efforts and regional campaigns.
• Manage corporate web site evolution and maintenance, content build-out, and ongoing enhancements.
• Measure the effectiveness of all Marketing programs and strategies and report ROI from associated campaigns through lead tracking (and reporting) in Eloqua and Salesforce.com
• Develop and execute integrated online/offline search engine marketing (PPC), direct mail/email, Google Ads and some print advertising.
• Assist with public relations, tradeshows and other campaigns to generate demand and sales leads.

Skills:
• Expertise with Salesforce.com, and web site content management systems.
• Ability to communicate and write in a clear and precise manner.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to interact with both internal clients, vendors and external customers.
• Have worked in the Digital Agency field a plus

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Used to the ambiguity and uncertainty that comes with a new team and new department.
• Organized: able to coordinate several projects at the same time. Ability to manage time effectively.
• Understand that the Sales department is the internal customer and can be responsive to individual reps and enquiries.

Education & Experience:
• BA/BS is preferred, but common sense and real world experience are more important.
• 8+ years marketing experience.
• Better to have been a major contributor in a small company or start-up than having had a small part in a large company-marketing department.
