Marketing Manager

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Phone Category Lead, Account Directors, Retail Services, and Business Group to help build and execute programs in support of Phone and other products carried at mobile operators.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaboration with Phone Team to localize & execute Business Group (BG) worldwide marketing plans
• Collaboration with Retail Services Team to ensure retail account plans are in place and in alignment with Phone local marketing plans
• Engagement with carrier and retail partners such as Bell, Rogers and TELUS, as well as OEM partners such as Nokia, Samsung & HTC to develop and execute retail programs
• Driving training & merchandising strategy with Retail Services and Account Management team
• Delivering continuous improvements to the customer buying experience for Company products (phones, PCs, tablets, console gaming) at carrier retail (both online and in-store)
• Management of retail Marketing budget and providing quarterly forecasts
• Executing strategic offers and co-marketing initiatives to help drive sales of Phone (and other Company products) at carrier stores and consumer retail
• Identification of additional market opportunities that deliver profitable unit & revenue growth
• Manage & monitor program performance with regular results & insight reporting for continued improvement and optimization

Qualifications:
• 4-year degree in Business or Marketing
• Minimum 5-years of experience in marketing with focus on category or channel management
• Demonstrated success in executing channel or product marketing initiatives with focus on ROI
• Strong understanding of Canadian consumer electronics / retail / mobile phone landscape
• Business acumen, customer / partner / team focus, strategic & creative thinking
• Drive for results with demonstrated track record of exceeding targets
• Experience working directly with Account Management, mobile operators and / or retailers
