Marketing Manager

Our client, a high profile fashion/beauty company, has an immediate need for a temp to hire Marketing Manager to manage the Marketing efforts for a new line.

Essential Functions:

- Develops and executes marketing vision, strategies and tactics for existing and new products, including promotions and other marketing programs.
- Introduces new products within existing brand and develops new products to address market opportunities.
- Initiates and leads package development, including artwork and copy development of new products. Also recommends and executes changes in existing products.
- Develops Annual Marketing Plans based on extensive brand and promotion analysis.
- Manages the activities of the Associate Marketing Manager including planning, assigning and reviewing work, instructing/developing employee, and maintaining standards.
- Works closely with the VP of Retail Sales Team to develop customer-specific programs and displays that meet the account’s needs.
- Coordinates annual refreshment of existing lines.
- Recommends changes to pricing for existing products as necessary.
= Develops, manages, and executes marketing programs. Responsible for ongoing brand and promotion analysis including reviewing and analyzing internal sales reports and syndicated data in order to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and competitive activity. Provides recommendations for changes and improvements based on evaluation of analysis.
- Develops and manages brand budget within corporate processes and procedures.
- Participates in key customer and sales presentations.
- Leads internal cross-functional teams and external marketing service resources to achieve brand goals and execute marketing plan.

Qualifications:
- College Degree, BA; MBA preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in CPG brand management or product marketing in Mass Retail; Beauty experience a plus
